The Family who has been touring a number of nations in Africa and quite a few in Europe for five years has reached Addis and made a remarkable presentation about their journey and their experience here at ICS. This event had two purposes. The first was to share the art making process with the younger students to show the differences and similarities of how artwork is created. Second, it was an opportunity for our grade 7 students  to fully understand and be able to describe the meaning in their work to 4 year olds. Here are some more photos from the critique.

ICS welcomes students, teachers, parents and the community to a great school year. A smooth beginning to all, old and new, has resumed to a more or less full-throttle learning this week. The New Classroom Block building and the Sports Pavilion, exciting and high-end learning facility to a high-end learning caliber, are some of the enthusing additions to the existing facilities we have at ICS.

All band students wowed us with their performances in the end-of-year concert. This week, the choirs have done the same. Way to go to all the student musicians who have worked so hard to develop and refine their musical skills this year! Stay tuned for more end-of-year celebrations of success coming from multiple classes. It's great to see how much our MS students have grown!

Students learn about different jobs and careers and more importantly, about themselves. They learned to think, communicate, cooperate and be a part of a bigger system. They also saw and explored something new and know more about themselves in a different and professional setting.  The... Read More

During the past months, the ICS Girl Scout Brownie Troop came up with the idea of collecting books to donate to a local school.
