We are an internationally accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. In addition to our proven academic program, which features the International Baccalaureate framework and a focus on personalized learning, ICS places great value on our extracurricular activities, athletics, arts, and events, which allow us to provide unique experiences and learning opportunities for all of our students.
Forefront in all of our efforts, every day, is providing a safe, respectful, and diverse learning community that values the efforts, contributions, and points of view of all of our community members. Our focus on inclusion and social-emotional wellbeing supports our belief that all students can learn at high levels, be successful, and contribute to their world.
For ICS families, we have an amazing Parent Teacher Organization that supports many school and student initiatives and helps us to build the inclusive, welcoming community our school is known for.

ICS Addis is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Middle States Association (MSA), ensuring adherence to global standards. We are proud of our innovative delivery of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), and we are thrilled to be candidate school pursuing our authorization in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Career-related Programme (CP). The school is also a member of the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA) and the Special Education Network and Inclusion Association (SENIA), highlighting its commitment to inclusivity, collaboration, and educational excellence.
