The Board of Governors is the body entrusted to govern our school on behalf of the ICS Association.
The ICS Board of Governors is a mix of appointed and elected members. There are nine members, including six board-appointed members, two members elected by the ICS Association, and one representative of the US Embassy. All members of the ICS Board serve terms of two years.
The Board is the steward of the Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan of ICS, as well as its fiduciary oversight. The Board assigns operational authority to the Head of School, whom they contract, support, and assess.
The Board of Governors' Policy and Handbook sets the guidelines for all operational procedures.
