To be our best with Africa and our world.
We nurture the talents, character and intellect of all learners, challenging them to be a positive influence and empowering them to excel in their world.
Having a strong mission and vision is an important part of a school – and having a clear path to get there is a vital part of the process. The ICS Leadership in partnership with the Board of Governors has been undertaking a strategic planning process after our accreditation process in 2021.
A Strategic Planning Task Force (SPTF) was created in January 2022, to determine how the strategic planning would evolve and how to ensure collaboration with the ICS Community and all stakeholders. The SPTF was committed to ensure that strategic planning was a consultative process engaging as many members of the community as possible. To ensure this inclusive aim, we’ve captured many ideas and feedback through a broad strategic process, that included community surveys eliciting feedback from parents, students and employees, Board of Governors strategic input and through a Community Day event.
The ICS Community and the Board have identified and approved 3 strategic areas for ICS to focus on over the next 3 years.
