ICS Student Wins International Photography Award

Congratulations to Ezra Tewodoros, a Grade 9 student at ICS Addis, for winning the People’s Choice Award in the Down's Syndrome Association’s My Perspective photography competition!

His striking photograph, Portrait of a Woman, captured hearts worldwide and secured the top spot in the child division through popular vote.

Ezra's journey to this incredible achievement involved balancing his studies, playing basketball and tennis, and dedicating countless hours to honing his photography skills at ICS Addis. Reflecting on his passion, Ezra said, "I love taking pictures because I like what I see through the lens. My pictures inspire me."

Ezra accepted his award at a prestigious ceremony in London, where his work was celebrated among young photographers from around the world. We’re so proud of Ezra and thrilled to see his talent recognized on a global stage.
