Saturday's 1st PTO Community Market Spotlights NGOs

Get ready for the launch of the ICS Community Market, one of the favorite traditions of our school community.

Hosted monthly by the Parent Teacher Organization, ICS families and friends of the community are invited to campus to shop a wide range of handicrafts, foods, and drinks from local vendors. The first installment of the event, set to launch of Saturday 26 August, will shine a special light on more than 60 non-governmental organizations.

"We are so excited to welcome our community on to campus to gather together, shop, and enjoy some of the amazing work these organizations are doing to support local and global issues," ICS Board and PTO member Karin Steiner said. "The Community Market is a shining example of how we live the ICS vision, and introducing these organizations to our community is a fun way that we can come together to show our support."

To attend the Community Market on Saturday, we ask all parents to bring their ICS ID badges and enter through the Main Gate (Gate 1). We also encourage parents to bring their own reusable shopping bags, coffee cups, water bottles, and food containers to promote sustainability and environmental friendliness.
