PTO Fundraiser Supports Community and Learning Experiences

A big thank you to the ICS parent community who supported a fantastic day of fun and fundraising.

The ICS Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) hosted a festival on Saturday afternoon, featuring bouncy castles, face painting, food, music, and more! It was a day celebrating community. Thank you to everyone who attended! Money raised will support academic, athletic, and arts initiatives for ICS students of all ages.
Hundreds of ICS families and friends showed up for the event, which was run entirely by parent and staff volunteers. Vendors, entertainers, and non-profit organizations also contributed, demonstrating amazing community support.
The event, which was the first of its kind under the current PTO group, was a remarkable display of the parent community’s support and partnership with the school.
“At ICS, we know that our students learn better and have more positively impactful learning experiences when families play an active role in the school,” Head of School Earl Chamberlin said. “We are grateful to our parent community, to ICS families, and to our wider community for this amazing demonstration of support for our students. Thank you to everyone who played a part.”
