ICS Students & Staff Continue Collaboration on Service Projects

ICS students and staff have once again collaborated on a service project to make a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged children and elders.

Members of the ICS Addis community visited Mary Joy Ethiopia, a local charity organization, to continue the work they have been doing to strengthen our local neighboring schools. Over two Saturdays, ICS students and staff joined forces to install donated equipment, as well as set up technology and provide training. The visit also included maintaining and donating various items such as lockers, pans, plates, printers, a document scanner, tables, chairs, whiteboards, shelves, cabinets, mattresses, bedsheets, and used pillows.
On November 29, Sister Zebider, the Executive Director of Mary Joy Ethiopia, visited ICS to express her heartfelt gratitude. She commended our students and staff for their exceptional support and generosity.
“We want to make a comprehensive impact in improving the lives of those in need,” said Tadesse Woudneh, ICS Facilities Director. “We are humbled and honored to have played a role in making a positive difference in the lives of those served by Mary Joy Ethiopia. Together, we nurture a spirit of service and compassion, forging our community's brighter and more inclusive future. Through initiatives like these, we strive to empower and uplift those in need, embodying the true essence of our school's values.”
