ICS Hosts Global International Schools Health Institute

ICS Addis continues to grow its position as a leader in international schools — this time in the area of health and medical!

Twelve medical professionals from international schools across two continents traveled to ICS Addis last week for the Association of International Schools Africa (AISA) International Health Institute.
Facilitated by ICS Chief Medical Officer Krista Haley, the three-day institute aimed to empower school health professionals worldwide and advance the services they provide to school communities. Workshops and learning sessions focused on fostering personal wellness, preparing for pandemics, advancing policy development, improving documentation, and developing assessment skills to ensure effective response to emergencies. Other sessions promoted cross-cultural competence and cutting edge school health programs.
“At ICS, we want to continue to be a leader regionally and globally by sharing our knowledge, facilitating expert conversations, learning at the forefront of our fields, and improving our own practices,” Krista Haley said. “Health Offices are critical parts of international school communities, and we are honored and proud to be able to host such an impactful and inspiring event at ICS Addis.”
Thanks to everyone who participated in this event and to those who supported behind-the-scenes, including several of the ICS Addis staff departments.
