Clinician at AMIS 2021 Summit

We are pleased to share that our MS Music Teacher Brian Vincent is leading an international workshop at the annual Association for Music in International Schools Summit 2021 (AMIS). AMIS is a long-standing global conference for music educators and is designed specifically for International Music Teachers to come together and support one another.

Brian will present a clinic called “Igniting Imagination in the Band Room” for band directors and instrumental music teachers who want to explore ready-to-use tools to ignite their musician's imaginations. Brian says, “From their first rehearsal to the end of a performance, band musicians live in a world of music-making. This world exists solely in their minds and hearts, the keys to which lie within their imagination.” As such, this workshop aims to arm its participants with tools, lessons, and concepts connected to a creative process that they can use with their musicians in their very next class or rehearsal.

Part of being an educator in a professional learning community is collaborating, sharing, and learning together with other educators to improve the learning experience for students and we are proud that Brian is committed to that not just at ICS Addis, but in the global arena as well.
