U-12: Elementary School Teams (including age appropriate G6 students)
G4/5/6 students can participate in a variety of sports throughout the year in the three seasons. Teams will participate in the local ISSAAA Saturday morning sports events, which will have modified rules and where results, or league table are not kept.
Students must be 11 years of age or under before September 1st of the current school year and be enrolled in G4-6.
Practice is two days a week, Monday and Thursday. However, some teams will alternate one of these weekdays for a Saturday morning practice due to weather and facility limits.
U-14: Middle School Teams
MS students can participate in a variety of sports throughout the year in the three seasons. Teams will participate in the local ISSAAA league with home or away fixtures vs another league school.
Practice or match days are Monday and Thursday. Some games are hosted at other member schools and may mean students return to campus later than usual time.
Students must be 13 years of age or under before September 1st of the current school year.
Students in Grade 7 whose 12th birthday falls after September 1st of the current year can choose which age group (U12 or U14) they wish to participate in prior to season, but those students cannot do same sport for two seasons in different age levels during the school year.
U-16: High School Junior Varsity Teams
HS students must be 15 years of age or under before September 1st of that year. Teams will participate in the local ISSAAA league during the season.
Students in the U16 category who may wish to play at U19 level need to be selected as a starting player in the respective U19 team or they will remain within the U16 age group division
Practice is three times a week that includes one 6:00 AM morning practice, one Tuesday or Friday after school and one Saturday morning per week. Games are either Tuesday, Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings.
U-19 High School Varsity Teams
HS Varsity teams have the opportunity to travel for volleyball, soccer, basketball, tennis, track and field, golf and rugby to international tournaments within the ISSEA league.
Students must be 18 years of age or under before September 1st of the current year.
Practice is three times a week including one 6:00 AM morning practice, one of Tuesday or Friday and one Saturday morning.
Varsity Athletes will have an opportunity to represent ICS at International ISSEA events as well as participate in the local ISSAAA league. International rosters are smaller in most cases than local league ones
Students who are G11 but who are still 15 before September 1st can choose the age group they want to participate in prior to season, but cannot do same sport for two seasons in different age levels during the school year.
